At Camping Wear Shop, we stand behind our gear just like we stand behind you on your adventures. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy with your outdoor gear or apparel, we’re here to help with a straightforward returns and exchanges process.

Return & Exchange Timeframe

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of you receiving your items. All returned items must be in original condition: unworn, unwashed, with original tags attached, and in the original packaging.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to return or exchange an item:

  1. Contact our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order
  2. Provide your order number and details about the item(s) you wish to return or exchange
  3. We’ll email you a Return Authorization Number and instructions
  4. Package the item(s) securely with the original packaging
  5. Include the completed return form (see template below) in your package
  6. Ship the package to our return address (provided with your authorization email)

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked packages.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s):

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Your refund will be credited to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Exchanges

For exchanges:

  • We’ll process your exchange once we receive the returned item
  • If the exchange item is of higher value, you’ll need to pay the difference
  • If the exchange item is of lower value, we’ll refund the difference
  • Standard shipping charges apply for exchanged items
Note on Non-Returnable Items: For hygiene and safety reasons, Down Sleeping Bags and Blankets And Bedding are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective.
